The Baqai Foundation, founded in 1976, is a vital policy-making body. For over 60 years, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Fareeduddin Baqai and Prof. Dr. Zahida Baqai, it has undertaken diverse projects in Human Development, Poverty Alleviation, Medical Education, Training, Healthcare, Food and Nutrition, and Environment Protection. The groundbreaking Baqai Hospital, initiated in the 1960s, has been at the forefront of providing quality healthcare and medical education and treatment. Officially registered in 1983, the foundation operates impactful community development projects across multiple countries
Baqai Medical Complex initiated on 12th August 2002 under the guidance of the late Dr. F. U. Baqai with the mission to provide free healthcare and education services to the underserved community of Khuda Ki Basti.
