OUTCOMES

Upon completing the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Baqai institute of physical therapy & Rehabilitation medicine, learners will achieve a comprehensive set of outcomes, including:

Carry out patient/client assessment/ reassessment and evaluate and interpret the assessment by integrating concepts from biological, physical, behavioral and clinical sciences to make a physical therapy diagnosis and develop a treatment plan
Able to take clinical decisions in physical therapy by employing evidence based practice and critical thinking
Proper screening of the patients to provide appropriate physical therapy services and promote the prevention of disease, by taking into consideration cultural and social aspects and refer patient to relevant consultants or other members of interdisciplinary team members as per need.
Coordinate with patients, members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement an evidence based plan considering the available financial and human resources.
Examine theoretical and scientific basis of physical therapy practice, collect and evaluate data, review published literature and apply findings in the delivery of care.
Advocate for patient/ client and profession by exhibiting professional code of conduct and behaviors that are in line with the legal and ethical practice of physical therapy.
