Introduction
Baqai Cadet College is one of the institutions established
by the Baqai Foundation; which is a welfare organization
committed to provide health
care and educational facilities especially in the
under-developed areas. The Foundation has, so far,
established a number of educational institutions including
Baqai Medical
University; post
graduate institutions, healthcare and educational centers on
self help basis.
Baqai Cadet College is a
first ever fully residential Cadet College in private
sector, compatible to other cadet colleges of the country
managed by the provincial governments. It is spread over a
peace of land measuring more than 70 acres in a natural
pollution free ever green environment of Gadap; surrounded
by gardens and farms. The College campus is itself a
fruit-farm; the natural beauty of which has been fully
preserved and maintained. This provides peaceful calm and
congenial surrounding for the students to devote their
energies towards education and training. Like other
institutions of Baqai Foundation, Baqai Cadet College is
working on purely non-commercial basis and there is no
concept of earning profit out of the institution.
Admissions:
Admission in the College shall open once a year
for boys
in Class VIII (Admission in higher classes shall be
offered if seats are available subject to fulfillment of
conditions mentioned below:
a) Announcement

The announcement shall be made through leading
newspapers. |

b) Entry
The admission is generally restricted to class VIII. All
students are required to live in the College hostel where
excellent facilities for boarding/ lodging, sports and
recreational activities are available.
Day scholars are not admitted.
c) Age and Qualification
i) Candidate must not be under 12 years and over 14 years of age on 01st August of the year of admission.
ii) Must have passed Class VII at the time of admission. Those awaiting their Class VII results may also apply.
d)
Written Tests
Candidates shall be given written tests in
Mathematics, General Science, English and Urdu.
The level of tests will be of Class VII standard.
e)
Interview/ Medical Tests
Those qualifying the written tests shall
be called for interview and medical examination at Baqai
Cadet College. Parents shall be present in the College
during the interviews.

Objectives: Development of personal qualities like HONESTY, INTEGRITY, LOYALTY, RESPONSIBILITY through appreciation, affection, reward and indoctrination by the teachers. Development of individual qualities like COOPERATION, MANNERISM, EMOTIONAL STABILITY by the proper guidance, counseling and motivation both inside and outside the class-room. Development of leadership qualities like DETERMINATION, INITIATIVE, POWER of JUDGMENT, DECISION and SELF CONFIDENCE by providing opportunities to hold appointments like Class Monitors, Prefect, Cadets’ Captain and in-charge of various societies/clubs. Detection and elimination of negative traits of personality, like selfishness, cheating, by constant watch, counseling and adoption of corrective measures. Development of sense of PRIDE, EXCELLENCE and ACHIEVEMENT through healthy competition between individuals and Houses. Development of POWER OF EXPRESSION & DYNAMISM in daily life through debates, dramas, declamation, excursion and study tours/visits, etc.
